TANGOS, STEAKS, WATERFALLS & GLACIERS - IT CAN ONLY BE ARGENTINA!

Welcome to exhilarating Argentina!

Expect super friendly people, a myriad of things to do and see all at a slightly more afforable rates than many European countries that offer far less. My visit started in Buenos Aires, a vibrant city of new and old, music and culture, food and drink and of course, the tango!

Let's go! Tango dancers in the legendary Café Tortini.

The iconic Café Tortini where you too can learn to dance the tango.

Tango dancers are everywhere everywhere...

In Buenos Aires you'll find magnificent historic Spanish buildings, Ricoletta, the famous City of the Dead where Eva Peron lies emtombed,  and the buzzing La Boca district packed with artisans, crafts, restaurants and all manner of fascinating shops and galleries.

Don't cry for me, Argentina!

And the food! From empanadas and juicy steaks...

...to crunchy churros just waiting to be dipped in hot chocolate.

Time now to fly off to the breathtaking Iguassu/Iguazu Falls.

We visited the Falls from Argentina and then crossed into Brazil for yet more spectacle.

On the way passing by where three countries meet.

And even taking a risky, but oh-so-exciting boat ride right under one of the falls.

And now it was off to Patagonia where ancient rock art sites rest alongside mighty glaciers.

The guide was thrilled we were from South Africa and knew about rock art

Followed by dinner in an ancient cave

Last stop Patagonia's awesome glaciers.

Drifting silently through a surreal wonderland

Adios until the next time!
