Kate Turkington Travel Club

COME TRAVEL WITH ME…

Kate Turkington really needs no introduction. Best selling author, journalist, former academic, radio and television talkshow host, Kate is also a highly experienced traveller and travel writer. Travelling since the age of four, Kate has tramped the world, from Antarctica to Zimbabwe, in a never-ending quest to soothe her itching feet. She’s stood between the paws of the Sphinx, worked in a Leper Colony in Nigeria, bought curios while being perched on the back of an elephant, shredded her clothes in the Ugandan jungle while looking for gorillas, and visited one of the highest Hindu temples in the world, surrounded by the Himalayas.

Drawing on the expertise of her team of professional travel consultants, Kate would now like to share her experience and enthusiasm and invites you to join The Kate Turkington Travel Club. The KTTC appeals to like-minded people of all ages and is ideal for those who would otherwise have to travel on their own. We travel in small groups, and research and develop our own tours to offer trips to interesting and unusual destinations with a cultural, historical, archaeological or other special theme. We have travelled to Bolivia, Peru, Turkey, Egypt, India, Nepal, Kashmir, Tibet, Russia, Antarctica, Cambodia, Vietnam, Cuba, among other destinations, and also many southern African destinations.
