Well done girl!!! Who do Escom think they are - after such incompetent running of such important an organisation, the cheek to accept bonuses and then with us having to let employees off at times of no power, they still have the audacity to repremand us for not reducing our consumption by 10%.
They are even worse that the last lot who where in power.
Keep up the goodwork.

I enjoy "Believe it or not" because it has helpful discussions on a whole "potpourri" of issues in particular spiritual and ethical issues. It continues to challenge my thinking and though I don't always agree with some of the ideas presented, it is good to broaden ones thinking and see the other side(s) of the coin! The website is a great idea and I look forward to seeing it grow. Well done Kate!

The God Delusion is a brilliant attempt to show the silliness and sometimes wickedness of organised religion, against the bigger background argument that it is the nature of the universe's development to refine things over time - and therefore it is unrealistic to presume we were created by a God. Anything capable of producing something so detailed and refined as life on earth must itself have been a product of natural selection. It is a compelling book - as the interview on 702 was - but I'm not sure if it's turned me into an avowed atheist completely successfully. Time will tell.
